Hi Young Pars

We enjoyed the win here last weekend and now we’re looking forward to the next round of the Scottish Cup in February – an away tie against today’s opponents! Come on, ye Pars!

We’d like to remind all Young Pars and their
parents that we will be taking a bus to

McDairmid

Park

for the game against St Johnstone next Saturday.
If you wish to travel with us and you haven’t yet contacted Christine
then you must do so as soon as possible by phoning her on 01383 822012.

Adults who wish to accompany their children are also welcome.
Young Pars members will receive free entry into the game as part of our exchange agreement with St Johnstone but any adults accompanying them will have to pay. There will also be a small charge for adults for the bus, although for Young Pars members the bus will also be free, thanks to sponsorship from Mr
Chris Wishart.

Birthday
Board

The following Young Pars celebrate their
birthdays in January.

Ciaran Henderson, Holly Anderson, Aiden Binnie, Callum Wilson and Josh Redpath.

Wishing you all a very Happy Birthday from everyone at the Young Pars.

Ballboy/Ballgirl
spotlight

What a horrible day it was last Saturday!
We really felt sorry for the ball boys and ball girls standing out there
getting soaked! However, the ball
boy in the spotlight this week is Scott Lucas who managed to raise nearly £400
for the

Edinburgh

Sick

Kids

Hospital

by taking part in the Looney Dook on New Year’s Day at
South Queensferry

, so maybe last week’s wind and rain wasn’t a problem for Scott!

Scott can’t remember when he started to
support the Pars but he does remember his first game being a 5-0 victory for his
team. He can’t remember who they
were playing or when it was but it was certainly a great start to his life as a
Pars fan! For his favourite moment
he chose Andrius Skerla’s goal in the Scottish Cup Final in 2004.
(This seems to be a popular choice amongst many of our ball boys and ball
girls!) He enjoys being a ball boy
and thinks it is fun although he misses not being able to watch the game from
the stands with his friends. His
favourite Young Pars event is the bowling and he also enjoys coming with us on
away trips. Scott’s favourite
player at the moment is Calum Woods.
