(Entry for Young Pars page of Match Programme v Partick Thistle)

Hi Young Pars

Well, this is us heading into the second round of games for this season. Partick took all three points when the teams met on the first day of the season, so here’s hoping we can take our revenge for that result today!

Away
trip to

Clyde

A group of Young Pars travelled to
Clyde

a couple of weeks ago as guests of the Clyde Crew, who very kindly gave every
one of us a free programme. This was
our second away game in the last few weeks having travelled to
Dundee

last month. On this occasion
though, we came away with a win, which always brightens up the journey home!
We also held a free raffle on the bus to win some Pars goodies!

Our next exchange game is against St
Johnstone early in the New Year so make a note in your diary now if you think
you would be interested in going.

Club
night

We held our first Club night of the season at
the end of last month. This took the
form of an activity based evening with heading the ball, target practice and
basketball among the activities taking place.
Many thanks to Paul Gallacher, Scott Muirhead, Simon Wiles and Calum
Woods for coming along and taking on the role of team captains and
congratulations to Calum whose team collected the most points!
A short break for some refreshments was followed by a question and answer
session with the players keeping everyone amused with some of their answers!

Birthday
board

The following Young Pars celebrate their
birthdays in October.

Dylan Murray,
Cameron Canning, Adam Ainslie, Hannah Murphy, Ross McLean and Ruiridh McCormick.

A very Happy Birthday to all of you from
everyone at the Young Pars.

Competition
time

Here’s another chance to enter this
competition which originally appeared in the programme for our CIS Cup game
against St Mirren. A signed DAFC
football is the prize and all you have to do to win is answer the following
question.

Which
former Pars player is the manager of St Mirren?

An easy question we think! Send your
answers to Helen Beard,

31 Elliot Street

,
Dunfermline

KY11 4TF

. First correct answer drawn from
all the entries will win the signed ball!
