Hi Young Pars

Have you all enjoyed your first week back at school after the summer holidays? Bet you couldn’t wait to get back!

Young
Pars membership

It’s great to see so many of you re-joining
the Young Pars and we look forward to meeting up with you all again soon at one
of our events. As well as all the
activities we mentioned in the last league programme, Young Pars members also
have the chance to enter our Penalty Kick competition at the end of each season.
Those who make it through the qualifying round compete for the title of
Penalty Kick champion in the semi-finals and final which are held at half time
during home games at

East End

Park

. Very exciting!
Our pictures show some of the semi-finalists from last season and the
winner, Hamish Michie.

Newsletter
competition

We ran a competition in our last newsletter to
win free membership of the Young Pars or Sammy’s Gang for this season.
We asked who Steven Bell played for before joining Dunfermline Athletic.
The answer was Stirling Albion and the lucky winner was Lewis Sharpe from
Rosyth. Lewis has been a member of
the Young Pars for many years and enters all our competitions so he is a very
worthy winner! Well done, Lewis!
We look forward to seeing you soon!

Away
games

A reminder to all Young Pars members that we
are taking buses to two away games coming up soon –
Dundee

on Saturday 13th September and
Clyde

on Saturday 4th October. Any
Young Par who would like to travel with us to either one or both of these games
should phone Christine on 01383 822012 or email pars@youngpars.co.uk
to book their place.

We have an agreement with these clubs to allow
Young Pars members and helpers in to the game free of charge so the only thing
you have to pay for is the bus! Any
adults willing to help should let Christine know when they phone.
