Having been out of print for more than 25 years, digital printing has allowed a new run of a previously very popular book about Dunfermline Athletic Football Club. Black and White Magic is back on the shelves with a limited re-print.

The book is pretty unique; introduced by Jock Stein and containing newspaper coverage of the halcyon days of Dunfermline Athletic’s successes both at home and abroad during the 1960s. There is also a comprehensive statistical record of the seasons.

Co-author Douglas Scott explained just why a reprint:-


“It is the 50th anniversary of Dunfermline Athletic winning the Scottish Cup and the “Evening with Alex Ferguson” at the Alhambra back in August indicated that there is still considerable interest in this era.”
