Can you believe it’s only four weeks until Christmas! How are you all getting on with your Christmas shopping? If you haven’t visited the Club shop recently you should maybe pop in and get some ideas, either to give as a gift for someone else or to put on your list for Santa!

Christmas
event

For our members aged 7 and over, we are
returning to Bowlplex for some bowling fun this Christmas after trying something
different last year. The date for
this is Tuesday 13^th December and it all kicks off at 6.30pm, though
you should make sure you are there by 6.15pm to give us time to get shoes and
teams sorted out. We have booked two
games this time and the cost to each member attending is £2, payable on the
night. Pars players will be coming
along to captain the teams. We must
have numbers for this event so if you wish to be part of it you need to contact
Christine as soon as possible, either by phone or email, to say you are coming.Â

For members of Sammy’s Gang, Sammy is busy
writing a special Christmas story for his Gang again this year so something for
you all to look forward to in the run up to Christmas!

Newsletter

All Young Pars members should be receiving
their November newsletter through the post very soon.Â
You can read about the events we have held since the beginning of the
season and it also has details of the Christmas bowling event.Â
At the moment, we post out the newsletters to all our members but if you
would rather receive yours via email then please let us know.

Sponsored
walk

Tomorrow the club have organised a sponsored
walk to raise funds for the DAFC Community and Youth programmes.Â
We’re not sure how many of you have signed up for this but it sounds as
if it could be a really fun day with all those who have taken part in the walk
enjoying some entertainment when they finish the walk at
w:st="on">
East End

Park

. This includes face painters,
childrens’ entertainers and the chance for fans to get their photo taken with
the SFL Champions Cup and players. Let’s
hope this proves to be a successful event which helps to develop our players of
the future!
