Young Pars News 18 September 2010
(Entry for Young Pars page of Match Programme v Cowdenbeath)
Hi Young Pars
After a very good performance and result here last weekend against Dundee we are really looking forward to taking the Young Pars to Dens Park for our away fixture against Dundee on 23rd October. We can’t guarantee the result but it is always a great day out.
Away game
 Young Pars
wishing to join us for this trip should phone Christine or email us at the
address below to book your place. There
is a charge for the bus but entry into the game is free for all Young Pars
travelling with us.Â
Club night
Another event taking place in October is a Club night
for Young Pars members aged 7 and over. This
will be held in the Kingdom Suite on 5th October from
7pm-8.30pm
. Players will be there to take part
in activities, chat to their young fans and sign autographs.Â
It would be helpful if you could let Christine know if you are coming
along. You can phone her at the
number below or send us an email.Â
Around 30 of Sammy’s gang joined him for his birthday
party in the Kingdom Suite at
East End
Park
last Sunday. Magic Ian was there to
entertain the children (and adults) with some magic, singing and plate spinning!Â
Sammy joined in by trying to spin a few plates himself but needless to
say he needs a lot of practice! After
the party food and a bit more fun, Magic Ian made up a balloon for each child
before they left.  Â
We were delighted to welcome our youngest member to
Sammy’s party. Leo Fotheringham
joined the Young Pars the day after he was born and is now 9 weeks old.Â
Think you’ll agree he looks very cute in the arms of that big bear!
Birthday board
Happy Birthday to the following Young Pars who celebrate
their birthdays in September.
Aidan Smith, Cameron Stewart, Kendall
Forbes, Connor Boyd, Kian Allan, Eamon O’Halloran, Hannah Stewart and Thomas
Lind.
Hope you all enjoy your special day!
Well, we finally managed to hold the final of this
competition on the park at half time during last week’s game.Â
It was originally planned for the end of last season but because one of
the finalists had an injury we decided to postpone it to this season. Our four
finalists were Josh Redpath, Declan Pierce, Jamie Divertie and Paul Allan who
was defending his title from last season. The
winner this year was Declan Pierce. Many
congratulations to Declan and well done to the other boys for reaching the
final.Â
