2013 Penalty Kick Competition

This competition is open to all Young Pars members who enjoy the challenge of taking penalties in a competitive atmosphere.

The final of the Young Pars Penalty kick competition was held at half time in the Dunfermline v Airdrieonians match. The finalists tested their skills against U14 keeper Sean Donoghue and the winner was Jamie Diverty. He received the trophy from, Ryan Thomson. Cameron Shaw, Calum Gray and Greg Main were the other finalist.

The qualifying heats took place at Pitreavie playing fields in June and seven Young Pars qualified to take on our current penalty champion, Cameron Shaw. They are Ewan Divertie, Callum Harvey, Greg Main, Calum Gray, Kendall Forbes, Conall Adam and Andrew Morrison.

The semi-finals took place at half time on the pitch during home games. Four of the boys competed to be in the final during Saturday’s game against Arbroath and the remaining four will battle it out in our next home league game here against Stranraer on 31st August. The final was played out on Saturday 22nd September.
